The Benefits of an LPN Membership
LPN Member Success Stories
Susan Larson, LPN National Member (New York)
Transition/Reinvention Coach and Founder of Open The Door to Your Future
The synergy and connection among LPN members has been a springboard for my professional growth in offering retreats.
At the initial Positive Aging Conference at Eckerd College, I met Candy Spitz and discovered many mutual interests.
Later, Candy connected me to Barbara Babkirk and suggested we collaborate on a session at the 2011 PAC on
"Crafting Retreats For Renewal and Transformation."
As I reflect now, learning about design, content, organization, delivery and marketing of retreats with Barbara and Candy enhanced my toolkit,
raised my awareness and built my confidence. With the benefit of that collaboration,
I have offered several 1-on-1 life planning retreats, a half-day retreat on well-being for a regional bank, and several up-coming retreats on
Life Planning and Renewal for Caregivers. This is one of the many ways that LPN membership has contributed to my professional growth.

Founder of Association for Integrative Financial and Life Planning
I joined LPN three years ago, not at all sure what to expect, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my professional life.
Not only have I learned, but I have been challenged to stretch: my understanding, my concerns, and my own horizons.
LPN has done this not only through the quality of its programs, but even more through the quality of its members.
As with most things, the more you put into LPN the more you get out of it. But if there are any limits to what can be gotten out of LPN,
I have not yet discovered them. Read more of Chuck's LPN success story
